I actually make time offline to read self improvement books, lifestyle magazines, write blogs and poetry. I regularly participate in industry related webinars and discussions and do research on topics such as social media marketing, branding and public relations. I have also been told that I am a skillful and dedicated administrative professional, proven team leader; player and builder that possess an anything is possible attitude. Due to my strong new media and technology background; I am able to efficiently manage daily operational functions for my clients.
Career wise I recently worked in full-time ministry for three years in Office Administration, Special Events and Conference Style Coordination before re-launching my company Urban PR Connection – A New Media Marketing and PR firm. Before working in the non-for-profit religious sector I worked in corporate America for six years at a direct marketing firm; that had both online and offline properties as its Senior Web Producer and Online Production Supervisor. Even still before that at the ripe age of 19 I began working in Entertainment and Sports Management as a General Manager and Executive Assistant.
I am also an active member of my local church and currently hold the position of its Music department’s volunteer Project Manager. Other volunteer projects I have been a part of include creative think tanks for world renowned performance artists, local politicians peer coaching and student government.
